I traded poorly, today. I increased my share size and proceeded to eat crap. I had software problems all day long. That pissed me off and confused me because I had positions in my account I didn't have and couldn't send orders at times. Even without the software...

I had some software issues in the first half hour and missed some good opportunities. The rest of the day was okay, but pretty slow at times.

I traded lightly in the morning. I then took a nap around 10:30 am PDT and didn't even wake up until the close. I'm tired from the weekend.

I wish I had caught a little bit more of that action in gold. I was short a coulple of times, but took really small profits. I need to give my winners more of a chance. I keep taking them way too soon.

I was negative all day. Couldn't get anything going. Even though the market only went one direction, things seemed sort of slow. This is the first time I've lost two days in a row for over a month.

I thought there might be some action after the Fed. The whole day was just as crappy as the last two days. Chop, chop, chop.
I kept swinging from positive to negative all day. I finished negative, but it's not bad.

I think I'll save myself some frustration and take the rest of the day off. I dug myself out of a pit again. It's pretty darn slow, so I'll just get some things done around the house.

I was red all day long. I missed some good moves in the morning and was left with nothing, but the market chop the rest of the day. I'm glad I was able to claw back to positive by the end of the day.
I was checking out the 19" widescreen LCDs, recently. You should definitely go look at one first. I thought it was going to be great until I saw one. A 19" widescreen still has a 19" viewable diagonal. That means a normal 19" is much taller. I thought it was going to be like a normal 19", but...
I'm done for the day. I have a doctor's appointment. I screwed myself shorting CAT. I hesitated on the exit and lost 15 cents instead of 1 cent. Then I was a little pissed, so I held my next loser a little too long. I'm glad I made back most of my money.

I was getting frustrated early because I couldn't get filled on so many good shorts. It's difficult sometimes with NYSE stocks. Then I kept churning and churning; break even after break even trade. I'm glad I was able to escape a losing day.

Exits are by far the most important. Enter whenever you want. Just follow this rule of thumb and you will be okay: Always exit higher than you buy or lower than you sell and you will do fine.
I greatly overtraded on this slow day. I was down from the start, so I just kept trying to get green all day. Not a bad losing day, though.
