    Unless you plan on using the API and trading hundreds of symbols at a time, you current setup is more than adequate. Even if you intend to do that your current setup is probably fine..... I've got a Core2Quad Q6600 as well, (mine is overclocked to 3.3GHz). Works really awesome. - mnx

    the firm I'm with uses sterling and their "nyse" route is Merryl Lynch... another firm I know has nyfix set as their NYSE option... So just because it says "NYSE" as an option doesn't mean they own a seat / have a direct route etc... - mnx

    or you could use windows task manager. press CRTL + ALT + delete click on the networking tab click on View -> Select Columns Check on Bytes Sent and Bytes Received Leave task manager open to monitor your network traffic. - mnx

    If you're a scalper would the 25ms response time on the Planar make a difference? (vs. 4-5ms on a TN panel)? I figured it would when I was buying monitors, but now I'm wondering if I bought monitors look at the wrong criteria... lol oh well. still love my samsungs... - mnx
