depends on the size of your order. If the nyse is displaying 500 shares at 9.99 and you bid 1000 arca routed at 10$, then 500 will route to the nyse @ 9.99 the rest will display on arca @ 10$. hope that helps. mnx

yeah it'll dampen volatility but when a move does happen it'll be exagerated by the fact that all the chumps credit trading need to get flat.... I'm going to go broke taking liquidity on arca... arca is already one of the most expensive routes and now it's going to cost 3x as much.... mnx

new worst day ever. got lifted for 50k in a single print very close to the high of the day. (position was close to 85,000 shares total). sold 'em down to the low. the specialist was a jerk on this one. saw the size change on the nyb, hit cancel he filled me 50k then 15k a few seconds...

You know what? I didn't intentionally share anything freely, except maybe mumble a few things to people in my own office. Back at that time swifttrade office managers were able to see other traders positions, trade lists, open orders etc... Some office managers even left their software...
