I agree with you commissions do make a difference. Even retail, I have a hard time believing that you can get those rates for 10K a day, unless your paying for software and bandwidth. Like I said, if it's true, I'll recommend them in a heart beat for people looking just for lower rates.

Go to any other prop firm, except the group you work for, and you can't get those rates for 10K avg volume a month. I also don't believe that the group you're in, would hire too many 10K a day traders, provide them with all the software and equipment for free, and provide with .003 commission...

yeah, and look where that got them. Plus if you add the ECN's, you're no longer talking about .003. The base means nothing, it's the ECN mark up that makes the difference.

Exactly, you're hooked up by a FRIEND. So you shouldn't give people false hope of being able to find such a deal by only doing 10K a day, unless they have a friend that'll hook them up.

What is the name of the firm? This is good for someone looking to do some lite day trading and limited positions unless you're putting up alot of capital. But for someone looking to do serious day trading, with minimal capital, and the most leverage, then it won't do.

There is an * next to the rate. When you read the fine print, it tells you that ECN's, and other fee's apply. Plus there are minimums transaction costs, so your actual cost is more then 50% higher then the rate being displayed in big letters.
