Any grey hair daytrader out there?

I apologize to the board for our bantering at each other, but I don't like when disgruntled people come on here, and state false facts to discredit others. I did answer daydreams question, but unfortunately traderxp decided to take a shot at me, again!! Sorry, again.

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

And at least have the balls to PM me your real name. It'd be fun to continue our chats via e-mail. Maybe you can make me into a better trainer.

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

Man, you keep harping on the same fact, but still can't provide any shred of evidence. Everybodies training style is different. Personally I like to build independent traders. And again, most seem to have made money, can't believe it was bad training. Still didn't reply, how they could've...

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

Sorry, one more thing, but it's funny how my old trainees are reading this board, and then contacting me, to tell me how f'up your posts are. They're also guessing who you are, and if you're not him, you're messing up his reputation in the firm. And they all pretty much guess the same person...

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

Daydream, sorry that this forum turned ugly, but I have to defend myself constantly to traderxp. Unfortunately, I think traderxp believes that you are me trying to advertise.

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

That's why several of my trainees are now trainers at the firm. They became trainers as soon as I left, so if I did a bad job, they would not be ready to become trainers. But somehow they did. Or you're telling us that, the trainers aren't fit to train. Second, my traders loved me, but of...

    Who's got the best training?

Even though traderxp has it in for me, I have to agree. If the commissions are reasonable, somewhere in the 1 to 1.2 cent range, then new traders shouldn't complain. Think of it as, instead of paying several grand for a training course, you'll pay for it in the commissions in the beginning...

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

You seem to be scared of me for some reason. You shadow me, blast me, but then don't want to back up your claims. you call me a piker, but yet, I make money everyday. You say I got fired, but I got the U-5 and resignation letter to prover otherwise. You seem to work at Lynx, which I've said...

Any grey hair daytrader out there?

There are definately some good firms out there that can provide you with some excellent training. PM me for more info. Just don't pay for a course. Look for a place that will provide you with hands on training, and constant follow up.

IB commissions lower than prop firms!! WHY???

The rates that you are paying for the volume you do is definately ridiculous. You should probably be in the range of 3/4 cents per share with no desk fee's (these are ridiculious by the way). The advantage you get at a prop is the office enviroment, but more importantly THE LEVERAGE!! Most...

    Why Johnny cant trade..........

It's very simple why most traders fail. They are not properly trained, and believe that a book or a filter is the holy grail. Or they are trained, but continue to look for that automated system that is the holy grail of trading. Unfortunately in order to succeed, you need to be fluent is...

    real time filters

There are firms out there that trade primarily off of the type of filters you are talking about. In fact, most top of the line filter programs, will allow you to program what you're asking for into them. One program that pops into mind is Insight, and if I can think of the others I will post...

Are all prop firms money sucking, greedy, evil, capitalist pigs?

Finally realized what your name stood for. LOL LOL!!! There are few guys, mostly disgruntled, some failed parnters and traders of other firms that find it necessary to put others down. Otherwise, most of the members are here legitamitely to give you the best advice they can. Ron, good luck...

    Who's got the best training?

Day trading as we know it now has only been around for the last 10 years, so that would make Bright a long term survivor, not someone to be careful of. As always, look into what the firm offers, not how long they've been around.

    Perfectly said.

    Two year non-compete

I know in the past it seems Hold Brothers did some things to piss off alot people. But I can tell you, they have gotten their business into really good shape. They just went self clearing, which would not be possible if they were not financially stable. They have gotten a bunch of good traders...

    Hours trading

Today was a great example of a market that moved during lunch. We got a great rally, and plenty of money was to be made. But most of the traders that I know missed it, cause they were out to lunch, or just napping.

    Two year non-compete

There is nothing wrong with a non-compete as long as your able to leave, but not solicit traders from within that company. No firm wants to watch a trader leave, and take several more with them.

what to do when you're screwed

I was one foot out the door, but finally found someone who could take all that knowledge in my head and get it organized into one successful system. Ever since then I have been successful in trading and training.
