The FTSE is great for intraday trading; less whippy than the DAX. I trade through Interactive Brokers.

While they are an excellent broker, IB's data feed is neither accurate nor reliable. DTN/IQFeed is a great real-time data provider. With eSignal I don't think you can get the data feed without paying for the charting software too (also, I don't think they're as reliable as IQFeed)...

That sounds good. This week is hectic for me. Except for Tues. any night next week 8:30p or later would be fine, or I could meet earlier on Sun. or Thurs. (6:30 or 7:00).

I agree with you about the parking. Is that a vote for Media? That's fine with me. Can you, giles, or syswizard suggest a good location in or around Media/So. Del. County?

The city is relatively central. Alternatively, there are two people close to the airport and one in Media, so somewhere down there would work too. It's only 20 minutes for me, and swinger can come straight down the blue route. Everywhere down here is a hike from Yardley. Let's have votes...

I've only demo'd XTrader, so I'm not certain how the feed I saw compares with reality. Also, is it just that the software is faster/better, or is it the data feed as well? If it's the data feed as well, is that broker dependent (i.e., great through broker X but not through broker Y)...

I like BookTrader a lot; however, the glaring omission is that auto-attached stop and target limit orders set up through the hotkeys only allow offset values to be specified in terms of price and not in terms of ticks. This is fine if you only trade stocks, but if you trade a variety of futures...

Note that in order to use Ninjatrader's static dome you have to pay $0.10 per side for each contract executed through the static dome (TT settlement). The application defaults to their dynamic dome, which doubles as a headache machine. You contact technical support to get switched over to...

DTN/IQFeed is a great product with excellent customer service. IMO, it's faster and more reliable than esignal.
