Yes. Not good. Although I do of course not use IB as my quotes provider, as nobody shall do, I rely on their quotes as backup.

CBOT Corn / Wheats trade 50k - 100k a day. The energies (crude oil) and gold are also very liquid. They do more vol than most stock indices. I would like to study these, but as open outcry, this makes no use to me.

bebe, you sure ? I heard Eurex will add a few contracts, based on NFA approval, but these are EUR denominated DAX, Bund, Stoxx (24h trading). I heard nothing so far Eurex will introduce any commodities.

...this way we could have a much more useful EurexUS. Instead of splitting liquidity in US Bonds, why did they just not introduce effective electronic trading for CBOT Grains, Soybeans etc. or Live Cattle products. These are still 99% open outcry and still need shifting over to...

Thanks Bernd & RSPhoenix for the Update. Any Info yet when IB will get quotes running ? BTW, I hope volume at EurexUS stays this low. Eurex 64kb / CEF Feed is far inferior to LiffeConnect. Until Deutsche Boerse gets it's stuff fixed, they do not deserve volume.

I yet have no access to EurexUS quotes. Can anyone please give an update on current traded volume ? The todays volume for TBX / TNL would be great!

JS / Romeo, how please did you do this ? CBOE shows todays volume with 34 contracts OVERALL. The ES Feb1200C shows a total volume of zero. SP Futures options have another multiplier and cannot be what you talk about. Or do you have special trading tactics you "cannot disguise" :D

And will these s*ckers still be able to turn it off ??? It sounds like -yes-, which would be no improvement at all.

o Exchange transaction fees for members trading for a member-owned account on an individual or firm-owned seat will be waived. (Previously, those users paid $0.10 per side for the first 25,000 contracts traded and $0.05 thereafter. Dunnu, IMO this should bring prices UP !

I read throu several news articles this morning, the tenor they talk is that DOT should process all sizes and immediately. The floor brokers should be "helpful when working large sizes". Anybody any new / additional information ? Especially when they want to introduce this ?

Personally I see low liquidity for that product ahead. Eurex once had such a product, they delisted it due to nearly zero trading.
