    FXCM hmmmmmmm.

Of course they can do it. It is their exclusive order flow, they see every order. They know, you have not the chance of closing your pos elsewhere. Due to the high spread they have always 2 or 3, sometimes 4 pips "room" for mistreating you. The FX market is totally unregulated, so you will...

    FXCM hmmmmmmm.

Not enough with the spread, they can also play dirty tricks on you, like you are long 50 contracts, want to exit, the trader will keep his bid 2 or 3 pips below fair value. This alone would cost you additional $1000.

    LT USD down trend resuming?

I would say so. If US econ does not stop to deteriorate (and PPT cannot stop this long term), we could easily see EURUSD @1.35 some day. US stock markets have become a little bit irrational once again (people talk already about a 2. internet bubble), so this could happen

    The impact of Iraqi news???

I already said this in a thread a long time ago. The market does no longer care about saddam or his sons. It will probably have only a minimal impact. Nonetheless, we will likely see upside today, i expect ES go up to 995

    Recommended Commodities Charting Service?

futuresource ProNET is the industry standard. It is expensive, > $200. If you need quotes, you can use myTrack as a cheap alternative. They have all the exchanges as well.

    Qcharts vs. Realtick

myTrack is very good for ME. I had no problems over the last 2 years, except to short cutoffs. But, I heard, others had problems with myTrack. However, for me it was even more stable than RT.

    IB is getting serious...

fx, i would not decry a competitor to IB. competition is good for our game. the long term effect would be even more efficient trading, maybe much more efficient, in case exchange fees go down, which can only achieved by: exchange competition. as said, i know track's platform, and for me...

    IB is getting serious...

It is 2.30 per contract. BTW, I am both a very satisfied customer of IB and TrackData (myTrack). Maybe I give trackTrade a try as well, but I will stick with IB for now.
