    The usual DirectDraw issue. Disable DD from javaw.exe via -noddraw=TRUE should solve it.

    IMO the definition of the term "short squeeze" is something different. it is, when there is not enough underlying available for the shorts to cover, like e.g. was in the BUND future some time in 2000, leading to really dramatic price movements.

    try the LCD's "Auto-Configure" feature. If it does not have one, adjust Clock / and or Phase accordingly. This should solve it.

    as everybody talks about currency, the BONDS are a very similar market, with strong trends as well, >70% interbank business. And, they are far cheaper to trade... $4.80 RT @ IB, if you know how, you can trade without spread because they are so liquid. IMO, thats better than FX futures !

    bonds and interest arb is the big guys part. the banks who own the underlyings are big in the business. they hire oxford math students for this. thus as a small guy --> forget it

    There are that many. If you search in google, you will get tons of names you probably never heard of, some of these firms have only a handful of customers, for sure.
