Just want to add, I'm 18, about to turn 19. In college, and currently considering getting out to persue trading full time. I am extremely fortunate to have someone guide me (mentor), and am doing very well in futures. I'm greatful to be able to have this chance after my father passed...

I'd just like to add that I trade through Alaron with Greenstreet as the IB. Very happy with the brokerage.

BTW, I kinda thought today was going to be a slow day today, because of where we were at on the daily chart. Notice how similar it looks to the last time it touched resistance, so I was kinda expecting this, but never experienced it before. I'm just curious as to what people think will occur...

Oh no, he didn't like today either... most of the day was spent joking about how little movement there was. I had several opprotunities, but I just wasn't into today, it is the first time I ever seen a day like this, that is why I said it was a good experience for me. It was a crummy day...

Only around 17 dollars made today on my day off of school with commissions. I can't complain, today is only the second day i have been able to trade the whole day... but I am learning so much and am greatful for it.

Nice Short... I was thinking the same Seems like everyone is switching to a 20 point stop. I still stick with my 10 point stop. Just have to be more patient.

Do you use support and resistance as your main indicators for trading, or do you use other indicators as well? Just like seeing how other people that trade using S&R fair in the markets.

3.40 R/T. But my mentor hooked me up with the broker there and got me a cheaper R/T discount and a lot of other bells and whistles. and.... Yes I'm still paper-trading.

I don't doubt him, I just wanted to know why he suddenly switched from 10 contracts to 50 contracts. I just remember him stating he traded 10. I was just wondering if there was something that gave him reason to trade 50, or if it was just a feeling or a change in his system.

Ugh...... I trade for myself and for myself alone with my mentor. *by myself the past week* I just like reading his trades, but I must say going from 10 contracts to 50 contracts seems strange, but, I don't care anyways. And WTF is this about a 4k trading course? You might require one...

Just curious as to why you stopped trading 10 contracts and moved up to 50 contracts? Any particular reason?
