The daily chart looked so bad at first glance that I had to take a closer look out of bewilderment. LOW and behold, there is actually a volatility-adjusted heartbeat on the last few bars. However, the chart of the futures continuous contract doesn't confirm.

Rarely. The only time it would make any sense to me would be if I was low on cash and saw a setup that I thought would probably only last a day or two. Otherwise, why give the juice?
