Morning. Went long USD/CHF at 1.1380 at 5:38 am EST Stopped out 1.1362. Was looking for a bounce up off a trendline I had set on a 30min. chart. Line was broken,price went lower. At 7:10, shorted EUR/JPY, 138.40, covered at 138.11. Got rattled on an upswing in price and covered. :mad:

Despite my earlier "irrational exuberance" I managed to pull $0.37 cents from the market. Had I stayed short from my initial entry on EUR/JPY, (selled and held), it would have been considerably higher. I increased to 100 units for tomorrow. Have a good night...

Not the coffee, I was testing myself to see if my recognition of price action had improved. Using the quote panel, candles and a 14,3 slow stoch. only. I love coffee, though. :p

Oanda bumped spread to 4.0 on EUR/JPY

Short 138.25, covered 138.18

Re-entered short at 138.42, covered at 138.26

Nice drop EUR/JPY. Short at 138.96, closed 138.65 Again at 138.42, covered 138.37

Maybe soon? Looks like it broke a trendline?

Should be interesting to watch the Asian open tonight. The EUR/JPY had some strong moves today. I sat out most of the day from 10 a.m. EST after that CHF debacle

With a 5, 15 and 30 minute chart, do you see a downward trendline? Looks like it's around 1.1334, may go through or drop there?

Short USD/CHF at 1.1282-stopped out at 1.1301. -19. Tried to pick a top. 30 and 15 min charts were showing me I was wrong, still took the trade, too early.

Went short USD/CHF. Half asleep, went short GBP/USD by mistake, bailed -7. Short USD/CHF at 1.1291, covered at 1.1286, +5.

Actually, a solid 19 cents. $0.19. I have to go to work. Check back later.

I've noticed you trade with close by SL & TP levels. I for one am not able to trade with such short stop levels and noticed that my trading improved when I focused on larger moves. Have you tried trading bigger moves (100 SL / 200 TP)? I did, previously. I had very little feel for...
