    Investing Catechism

Now let's say we're an average American that decides to constantly add to the nest egg on top of what we earn from dividends? I start with $100,000. My yearly income is $100,000 and I decide to be frugal and only spend half of it. $50,000 a year on expenses, mortgage, car, insurance, food...

Now let me change my example what if I had $100,000 Reinvesting my dividends over a period of 20 years? $2,304,979.91 a 2,204% increase on investment over a period of 20 years. When you first start out you would earn $16,000 a year On the 20th year you would earn $368,000 a year...

    Investing Catechism

I've known this for a long time as well. I just kept my mouth shut about it, because I'd deal with a crowd of lemmings who hold religiously to a belief and not consider the counter argument. Long term subsidies work like this. If I own shares in Annaly Capital Management with a dividend yield...

    Investing Catechism

Nitro is pointing out the core principle that guides the stock market. A core principle that's specific. Money from stock appreciation comes from other investors. Money from dividends come from the corporation based upon what it earns. I want to be the person that directly benefits through a...

    Investing Catechism

I understand Nitro's point completely. I understand the counter argument as well. But Nitro's argument is based upon how you benefit DIRECTLY from it's actions as a company. For example you own a house and it appreciates but according to a balance sheet a house is still a liability because it...

BAC 2 dollars, JPM 21 bucks

AMZN, close to 30% in Day? When Down?

Amazon will fall swiftly a 69.5 P/E ratio is totally over the top. Market conditions are not right for a stock to climb that high. Considering it's only been 2 days for bulls to push that stock up. I bet you it will take 1 day for bears to tear that stock down. I'd be very cautious even Apple...

This channel is at $29-31. No matter if you short or go long. You'll make money if you know how to play a channel. That's where most traders make consistent bank we'll see how my analysis progresses throughout a longer time frame. This thread is about finding shorting opportunities in Wells...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

very interesting, good thing I had a stop in place. But considering I shorted at 31.40 and closed at 29.00. I earned 8% in 5 days. Now, I never said it would not go back up. All I said was the inevitable it will go down. I will be their to short. Maybe you shouldn't refer to the first post...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

If you want, to play another game of who can guess the market's better or talk to me about how P/E ratio's don't matter that is fine, but I'll still kick your sorry ass. News flash, this isn't a bull market, it's a recovery and everyone isn't as gullible. Every Bull on Wall Street wants to run...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

Here's my rule of thumb never apply technical analysis and over shooting a trends strength without looking at the fundamentals. That's like a poker player not looking at his cards. Wall Street is not fooled by a trend. 75% of Wall Street is managed by fund manager that are number crunching...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

Within 12 days from my target and I'm right. I have had fun listening to skeptics and people telling me not to ask the "why" question. Damn, I thought mindless trading was for smart people? Wait, I use my brain and ask why, and that's why I make cash. I told you I love odds that are in my...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

Exactly! even now the price is not even justified. Why are investors paying $30 for a piece of paper that was worth the same amount in 04 and 05 when it was growing and the economic out look meant growth not a whole bunch of cost cutting and inflating book valuations.

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

I find it funny how you say the trend is "up" when the stock just washed away 2 days worth of gains. Not only that it's not even worth $30 per share. When I first came on I said the level is near impossible to break. Never said it wasn't. I put in a stop order at $30. And I shorted at the...

    Wells Fargo is a SHORT

Oh, it will be. It just broke it's up trend. And I shorted when it broke above the Bollinger Band into 31.40 I never thought it would break $30 so I exited around that level and shorted when it busted the upper 2.0 Bollinger Deviation. Works like a charm.
