    Liberal protesters vs. conservative protesters

Suppressing the rights and freedoms of other people does make you a bigot and hate monger. Many people don't stand up to the LGBT community because they are afraid of being exposed for what they are: bigots and hate mongers. It's fine to have your own opinions, even if it makes you a bigot, but...

Anyone hear of Main Street Trading Company?

to be honest, i don't think many legit trading groups need to advertise that they are looking for traders. you'll have better success researching successful (or stable) trading groups and then trying to contact them.

Anyone hear of Main Street Trading Company?

that's all I had to read to know that they're most likely a joke. I have found a job before on CL but those are for entry level positions, so why spend the money on an ad when just about anyone will do? If they are looking for serious traders, there are more serious venues for that.

Lowest fees ECNs/Exchanges for taking/adding liquidity

it would probably be better to find out which ecns you have access to and then look up the fees just for those ones. also, make sure your broker or trading group even passes those fees to you.

Himalayan glaciers expanding as phenomena puzzles global warming scientists

what's so scandalous about not including this? she is saying that the world is not uniformly warming, which is the point of sane global warming deniers. global warming does have it's sane and reasonable proponents too, but it looks like you're one of the insane ones. global warming is a very...

Rahm Emaneul is ok with anti Jew but not anti gay?

I don't understand, wouldn't an effective boycott from the people send the message to chik fil a more effectively than a mayor chastising them?

Himalayan glaciers expanding as phenomena puzzles global warming scientists

interesting. although i don't take notes on every single article i read about the ice caps melting, i am fairly certain that most article refer only to glaciers and icebergs near the poles. perhaps there isn't as much net ice loss for the globe as expected. maybe ice caps on other mountains are...

Nuclear power plant problem in US

You are right, it does look like [certain] people can't be trusted to run nuke plants. It's unfortunate, because they are necessary (in the sense that we need a lot of electricity) and they supply a lot of electricity with a small amount of resources. But I did think about it a little more. I...

Nuclear power plant problem in US

Well, in Chernobyl, wasn't the operator at fault drunk or something ridiculous like that? Also, new reports came out saying that the Fukushima disaster was caused by poor judgement, it could have been avoided, or something like that, I didn't read the article when I saw it. I agree, nuclear...

Team Obama admits it's a matter of race

Well, I guess my question is less of 'why are Asians successful?' and more like 'why do blacks have a head start* but don't achieve as much?' and 'to what extent does racism really play in the success of communities?' Are these questions politically incorrect? *Here is the head start that...

Team Obama admits it's a matter of race

Thanks wildchild, for mentioning a race other than black or white. Black people were never the only minority in the US (yes, Asians were a very tiny percent of the US population since the beginning, in very few areas, but don't forget about Native Americans), and they are no longer the largest...
