All the big banks and brokers are making money based on fees, matket making and commissions. No one (include all the algo, PhD, super analysts , Al and etc) can make money by betting on direction trades consistently in Long Term.

I did see a lot of premium sellers that claimed to find holy grail in ET before 2008, sadly all of them disappear after that. Sometime it is hard to advice someone to avoid disaster until he experience it himself in real life, see what happen if you try to advice a 18 years old don't drink and...

Market dropped more than 25% in Sept 2008 and VIX was shot up more than 30 points. As Daal mentioned, what will happen to your account if this event happen again ? let say SPX dropped from 2450 to 1600 ? Are you account survive ?

I just go long now, almost same price level as your entry an hour ago. This has avoided me for all the unnecessary wild ride.. Patience is the key

I close mine with 10 ticks profit (total 45 ticks from two trades) . Done for the day, i don't like the price movement today so I will stay away.

You finally got i mentioned before? Don't trade in Asia/Europe market, those markets have no life (they alway the weak and dumb followers from US market) and always sideway, it is a big NO markets to trend / momentum traders. Also, don't trade in the 1st hour in the US market if you trade...

I will observe a few more weeks before I came to any conclusion. He is a trend follower that ride with the momentum (wheather if he want to admit or not, or he even ever realise about it) . The momentum trading is normally doing well in trending market (such as today), and will struggle in...

No need to change your trading style or trading hours because of the inputs from others (include input from myself). My question is any reason you are trading in Asia / Europe time as they are mainly noise and chop? So far you are doing ok with your trading, keep the good works and post anytime...
