It is not just IB, even Dukascopy, one of the most reputable retail forex broker, is the same. Only the bucket shop brokers mainly using Metatrader 4 will show the profits in USD (or your account currency).

I don't quite understand. Did you mean a system which will only short and the exit is not based on the candle close but the entry is based on the candle open?

I have yet to comprehend what is the difference between acrary's edge and market character. For me, I would compare an edge to: 1. Long only, enter at open and exit at close. 2. Short only, enter at open and exit at close. 3. Long or short (randomly), enter at open and exit at close.
