Fact check: the most an under grad college student can borrow is 27,500.-- TOTAL, for all 4 yrs . A parent can take a parent plus loan for the balance if they choose. That is the parents debt. Get a little deeper than the run of the mill media.

No, I invest in the indices, etc. and trade options on ST trends. The investing side takes care of itself. The trading (which I previously indicated) works as long as I follow what I am seeing, not what I am predicting or hoping for. Trade what you see, some times easier said than done.

I've been trading this two way market more successfully than the previous up trend. But, upon closer examination, my problem with the up trend was I was missing/ignoring the positive signals that were there, thinking it had to correct. I was predicting not reacting to what I saw.

@TrustyJules ...one additional comment. What I do when calculating my potential appreciation is just use delta and not any benefits from gamma. This way if I do get the direction right the gamma will offset vega (if going in wrong direction)...if vol is helping me , great. Again, thanks for...
