    7K was all I had saved up. i.e 7K was my 100% of net worth. In fact I shouldn't have put all that money into day-trading with zero experience. My account was margin and got 3X margin.

    Shorting AMEX:TIV

    I tried shorting TIV@ $3.40 on Friday, but it was rejected. Can anyone explain why? what do you think caused this sudden jump? I asked my broker(Questrade)about it, they said maybe TIV is on the threshold list, but I checked and it wasn't!!

    What will happen to GFG?

    There is news out there that GFG is gonna be bought out by other companies. Currently there are around 108m shares at prices around 50 cents. GFG has got $13.5b in assets. If, say for instance, it is bought out for $400m, would that mean its shares would go up to around $3-4/share? Thanks.
