Preemptive Nationalization To Save US - The Shortie Solution

you should probably start documenting it and file for a US patent or something before others steal your idea :) :) and don't forget to create a page in Wikipedia about this historic event yet to unfold:p OMFG, This has been the funniest thread I have ever seen on ET.:)

    "I could care less"

Why have "n" in "damn" but not in "dam", with same pronunciations. You, U, Yew, Ewe, all are pronounced the same. Yew: an evergreen (= never losing its leaves) tree with flat leaves like needles and small red cones, or the wood from this tree Ewe: a female sheep, especially...

And many people think it is spelled like above, but in fact it is "Definitely" :D

    A planet with no money

Try to be realistic please, these stuff sound like science-fiction and Jacques Fresco's 'the Venus project' stuff. Physics tells us that the max speed we can achieve can not be greater than speed of light. So you can't say, for example, that once we have a moneyless society, then we can...

    A planet with no money

Are we presently living in the Stone Age? NO, so why should we be living in stone-age societies in the future? Back to your Q's: First you should ask yourself- what will I provide and contribute to the society? rather than asking: Who is going to cook food for me and come knock on my...

    A planet with no money

What he/she meant was that these are the jobs/professions that will be eliminated once we have a moneyless society. We are not talking about the past, but the future.

    A planet with no money

The purpose of having a moneyless society is to totally eliminate the issues you outlined above. Those shitty jobs will either be eliminated forever or more people are willing to help get them done. Right now companies don't want to have and pay three workers to get a job done that an average...

    Barclays' commercial

For some reason I love watching this commercial over and over again, I don't know why? Does it want to say that Wall street is fake?:D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N-Htse4sPI Great one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Ev5HgGACg&feature=channel

    A planet with no money

Exactly!:) Besides, even if nobody noticed you are freeloading and you didn't even feel bored, at some point you would start feeling ashamed of yourself. Because everybody was doing something and you just laid on the couch and kept watching the Simpsons on a 48" HDTV:mad:

    A planet with no money

No freeloading! That's what you are missing. So if you did nothing and people around you noticed that you absolutely do nothing except freeloading, they would definitely warn you that no society needs parasites like you. Whether it's a capitalist society or money-less one, whoever cheats or...

    A planet with no money

I mean burning and abolishing all our money/banknotes once and for all across the globe. This doesn't mean then chaos and anarchy would begin to spread and the streets would then be in turmoil. Many may conjure up images of people pouring into streets, smashing and setting cars and businesses on...

1 min. ago on Fox News, Rep. Kanjorski said Dow will be down 2,000 if FinReg fails.

Well, whether Obama or anybody else, "American capitalism and freedom" never did, and never will make America a prosperous country to set an example for other nations. "American capitalism and freedom" is just a big big lie ----->please continue on reading here...

America is ALREADY broke, bankrupt and destroyed, they are just trying to fix it.

    A planet with no money

If there were no money to be made, what 'interests' would people then pursue? I don't see there would be any interests left any more upon transition. And, no I haven't been reading any Buddhism books as I am not spiritual or religious (= delusional).

    A planet with no money

nitro, as it turns out the proposition of having a money-less society is not a new idea, see this please: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-communism however, that's not exactly what I am advocating for. What I said was: once the money is out of our lives for good, then there will no...

No, it's not Communism! Remember there will be absolutely no "State" nor "Wealth". Edit- I just did some Googling and it seems such a system is called 'Anarchist communism' : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-communism http://libcom.org/thought/anarchist-communism-an-introduction

    A planet with no money

That is what I envision for a money-less society, where there will be plenty of men and women available to happily work for any company they want and soon markets would be flooded with free goods. For instance, if US were such a place, then Ford, GM...wouldn't worry about their cost cuttings...

    A planet with no money

Read the original post, I think the answer is there, unless you believe in fairy home-builders or pizza falling from sky like rain :) To spell it out: You honor the work of others and so would they yours. 'freeloading' would destroy such a society, simple as that.
