What is the time decay rate of 2X, 3X ETF ?

Decay in leverage (on a share by share basis) is severe in these instruments for sure if you are on the wrong side of them but the original post was asking about time decay to which there is none for the leveraged ETFs themselves.

What is the time decay rate of 2X, 3X ETF ?

There is no time decay unless you purchase options on the ETFs. The reason the moves don't square is because of volatilty - the leveraged ETFs are designed to mimick daily % swings in their underlyings and that is all. They "square up" internally at the end of the day. There is no inherent...

Very light volume cash market sell off - however breadth is very negative at about 7 to 1 with dvol to uvol about 17 to 1. But index put call ratio running higher though not as high as equity put call ratio - suggesting that perhaps bigger players aren't ready to throw in the towael and are...

I think it needed a little bounce on 30 and 60 min timeframes to work off some oversold condition. Failure to bounce much should worry more dip buyers if they don't get the full team on board. Interesting that bond yields are heading south but oil and the dollar haven't reaction much in past...

Eur/usd looks like right on the TL and with oil hitting some resistance that should affect oil more if it drops below - also hitting the oil sector which has been on fire. index put call ratio <1 and overall put call very low - everyone buying and getting bully another good sign SMH weak...
