When I feel that I can definitely make a profit that day, I will trade but sometimes I may lose...but when I feel that I may not make a profit that day, I will not trade because I know I will lose.

I think it's a balance of greed and fear for lack of a better word...too much fear you take profit too early instead of letting your profits run, too much greed you waited too long and may even take a loss instead of profits...so a discipline and experienced trader would know when to take profit...

I have the book "Taking Money From Wall Street" by Tony Oz, I thought it was pretty good for beginners, especially the first two or three chapters about risk management. But definitely check out others so you get a better overall understanding. There was another book from the guys whom started...

Service Level Agreement - a contract between you and your provider to guarantee a certain level of service they must meet (or else credit must be awarded to you), parameters include but not limited to downtime and latency...hope that helps

Trading off emotions - mainly Fear and Greed Trading out of boredom - entering without a signal Trading from the P&L - looking at my $ instead of L2 or chart and many more...Only when a trader succeed at getting rid of all of the flaws will he/she become profitable (consistently) imo

Maybe breaking the TRADING forum we have now into Trading Psychology as commisso has suggested and the other one into Trading Strategy?

FYI - if someone average about 30 seconds to scan and submit a one word post, and does it for 12 hours a day, for 7 straight days for the week, he can rack up 10,000 posts! At that point, he would have surpassed the title of "elite member", and would be named "loser of the year"! j/k :D

I think that depends on what type of trader you are and what style you like, sometime the match is just not there.

Never really taken any of their courses except for the free ones (from Toni Turner of MarketWise and Dan Gibby of Pristine), seems like both company concentrate on swing traders mostly (so if that's your thing maybe it's for you) but they don't seem to address their concern nor are their courses...
