    time to buy buckle BKE

It looks a bit overbought to me.

    CSTR and GME

And that's why I hate buying anything in front of earnings. I did not buy GME, nor CSTR, but I'm gonna pass until earnings are out. I got burned on GME earlier this year at 30, and cut losses at 27. Now after several head fakes, I'm putting it in the perma trash bin. I think its business is...

    Stec

STEC popped up on my radar when it crossed below 12. I should have dipped my toes in, but I couldn't find an edge using the standard indicators. Fast stochastics were just showing over sold the whole way down. Now it's looking to fill the gap pretty damn quick. I'm surprised at how fast the...

    Irrational valuations

You should have went long GMCR. It's up around 30% since I said to get long that stock.

    CSTR and GME

CSTR is bouncing hard. Up 20% from the 24.30 low. GME is now up 10%.

    CSTR and GME

Anyone else looking at these? Both of these have been taking a pounding in the past month, and have popped up on my radar. I don't understand what's going on with CSTR, since they've been getting lots of support and growth from RedBox, but they also have a buttload of debt. And GME is just...

CVS busted again for selling expired junk

I'm looking to go long CVS. I just hope for more bad stories like this to break down the price.

    HGSI could pop

Watch your eyes out for Anthera pharma. It's currently privately held, but if it goes public, buy it.

    Concentration vs. diversified

How much concentration does a good trader make per trade? 10%? 20%? How concentrated or diversified should a portfolio be? There are arguments that concentration pays off with higher percentages, and diversification ends up being diworsification, but I've been thinking about a few money...

Best value in real estate today is in...

Prices in California are down alot too. Monterey County is down 50% since 2006. Still expensive though. A decent 3br house still costs around 600K

    Hurn!

I meant to say if it's NOT related to an accounting scandal.

    Hurn!

I've been doing some research on blow ups like this. Usually, companies whose stock declines 50%+ in one day with sufficient market caps tend to do ok over the year; the caveat is if it's related to a major accounting scandal. Those eventually go bankrupt or trade down 50-80% more. I would...

    Long AKAM?

AKAM got crushed on poor guidance, but still doing well. Looking for a swing trade. Who else is doing this?

I'm seriously looking at airline stocks?--UAUA, LUV, LCC

Thanks , Uncle Ho. This one played out superbly. The industry was way oversold, and besides, Jim Rogers likes it. Got in on all of the companies mentioned, and up 15% now on average. Although, part of me wants to balk at holding companies with god awful balance sheets.

I'm seriously looking at airline stocks?--UAUA, LUV, LCC

I think Jim Rogers also likes the airlines. One thing I don't like are the earnings. Holy crap, some of those airlines look horrible. Pretty much deathbed status.

    microsoft earnings disaster

If MSFT heads back to 20, i'm going all in. That's an easy 50%. Just sit on it and wait a few years until it heads towards 30. Windows 7 will be a good upgrade to kick up profits. The big thing i'm looking at is their entertainment line. Microsoft has some amazing things coming down the...

h&s top has morphed into a MUCH BIGGER h&s bottom

Shorting the futures. Dudes, it's a game of statistics and probability. We've seen 10 up days in a row. Statistically, this hasn't happened since 10 years ago. I'm betting we're heading back down.

h&s top has morphed into a MUCH BIGGER h&s bottom

If it's time to short, it's now. Taking a small short S&P futures at 970. If it keeps rallying, i'll add to it.
