this month has been tough so far...gap ups, gap downs, i gave up most of my july gains already. i think it is more of strange anticipation of a fed hike or pause.

buy on the rumor...sell on the news i guess.

Read market wizards. Virtually all of them had/have day jobs, normally in the markets in an institution. these days, i think you can do just fine trading while you keep a full time job. you can programs all your entries, exits, stops etc.

many moons ago i spoke with a few out of curiosity that strictly prohibited overnights. The local swift trade branch also does not allow them...I met the owners the other day. glad you guys realize the value of longer term holds and strategies. that should give you a real leg up.
