Hand Backtest theories and ideas, find a profitable one, and then throw money at it cautiously. It's really that simple.

What the hell is wrong with everyone. Market sells off heavy, and everyone is crying. Markets have risk, that is the nature of them. Sick of hearing about it, it's been risk free for 8 years, now there are some macro headwinds... learn to trade the new environment, or sell everything and cry.

The more volatility the easier it is for me to trade. When vol kicks up, markets get less noisy and more technical. Classic technical analysis translates very well in fast markets as the machines kick in to obvious trade mode. I have no hard facts backing this....but i make a lot more money...
