    Think AL on ThinkorSwim

Hey guys, I was looking around on thinkorswim today and noticed some type of algo software, but not familiar with this stuff, so mind it may be primitive compared to the specialized ones on this forum. Apparently it generates an algorithm off of the day's data (5 minutes or so) and then...

Trading firms (offices) In San Diego / oc / la California

No I did not trade with them. I am going with the remote route instead. However, I did receive prompt email responses from them. They are also very personable. They want to talk in person, which is actually a good thing. I would give them a try. I might eventually head over there since I...

Why can no one suggest a real prop firm on this section of the forum

Hey about the SEC fees. Say I bought 1000 shares of a stock. Transaction fee from the firm would be 6 dollars. How much would the SEC/FINRA stack on top of that? Any others I should know about?

Intraday trading, how many period SMA on what time frame

I have been trading the more volatile 3X ETF's with fairly tight stops. FAS, FAZ, TNA, TZA are pretty good ETFs. I use Bollinger Bands with 20SMA on a one minute chart. Then I use slow stochastic (10 period) and MACD. I like the FAS and TNA because they are fairly higher priced due to the...

    Trading Replay Software

Does anyone know if I can get a market replay software for backtesting and refining some trading methods? I hear Thinkorswim has one, called OnDemand, but I can't seem to locate it on the software. Your feedback will be appreciated, thanks.

    Looking for a Prop Firm

Exactly. As long as you are with the firm, then you DO NOT touch your initial deposit. They need collateral which is completely understandable. When people are joining firms, they should be willing to lose the 5k IF IT HAPPENS. If you need that money, then do not trade.

    Looking for a Prop Firm

It has its benefits, and right now I need to take advantage of them. But I understand what you are getting at. I am trying not to be hasty and I am seeking all options. Laser and Sterling are fine with me, plus some of the groups offer money off on Esignal. My capital is not locked up with...

    Looking for a Prop Firm

Are you referring to the educational courses or whatever? I don't plan on going through with one of those. I hear most of those don't give you a bang for your buck. Education wise, I think I remember Capital Traders Group offered the most extensive stuff. Back to the OP: Anyone have any...
