There is no difference, 2400% on $500 or 24000% on $500, because all these amateur contests are absolutely irrelevant to real professional consistent trading day in day out... Any idiot can nearly randomly open positions on max leverage, eventually catch a strong trend, multiply $500 account...

A discussion about $500 micro accounts contests @ the forum named "Elitetrader".... ROFLMAO...

Of course it is possible with 10% (and probably more, as we don't know how big his stop-loss was) risk per trade which that guy took!

Just do what your conscience tells you... That's better than trying to interpret commandments...

Personally me also think that old chat was OK. Audio chat is not a necessity. Even more - imagine non-moderated audio chat, it would be a nightmare, not a useful option... So - new software is nice, but is it worth paying $5K for it? Don't think so, cause most people consider old software...

Just tried to load it using Chrome... No difference. Apparently this is not browser related issue.

I am not at home now, so tried from Firefox and IE7 under XP... Some time ago it worked great from FF, but now doesn't load, shows "initialization" and that's all...

Was working for me about an hour before when I tested it, but now it doesn't.

New chat is looking very good, very comfortable to use software, thank you Baron. This I can say is care about ET members interests and I really appreciate it!

You worship Baron cult, huh? :D I respect Baron and his efforts in creating in supporting ET, but everyone makes mistakes and putting chat down is apparently one of them. Not every mistake consequences are obvious right from the start. But loss of loyal users, some of which ran journals...

Nothing "free" in this world. Many ET chat participants were running journals which attracted a lot of traffic aka advertising cash flow...

It even has audio and video for those who want :D

I would pay much to hear an audio chat where bighog, TheStudent, Spydertrader, Momo, DG, Surf and some other people would be at the same time... :D

Guys and ladies, don't spend time on stupid troll, he doesn't understand that non-formal communication of kind of virtual traders lounge while often seems like completely not trading related talk, often can be a brilliant discussion with invaluable trading insights too. Only losers need pure...

I want to add that chat, not forum was the place where I met some people who really helped me so much to become a better trader, so one should not undervalue chat and despite the fact only about 20 people there usually at a time, personally me considered it very valuable ET asset...

Pity the chat is dropped... Maybe not many used it but those who did apparently liked it a lot.

Same problem for me... Java applet hangs and that's all. :(
