I am starting to average in on rig, chk, pbr. I think energy stocks are a screaming deal at these levels. Could they go down further? Yep they definately could, at which I would buy a little more.... These are long term investments. not short term trades...

I went and got about 3 months of cash to live on just in case the shit reallly hits the fan. I can always put it back in my money market fund when things settle down. Better safe than sorry imo...

NCC is a beaten down bank that is cheap and a potential buyout from a larger bank ( maybe WFC). At any rate this is a gamble play based purely on the bailout and potential takeover. I do not have a large position and am willing to risk that this stock goes to zero. Good risk/ reward imho....

Absolutely, i couldn't agree more! All these guys are worried about is getting re-elected, therefore, they accept money from lobbyist who expect a favorable vote in return for the contribution. Term limits would stop this bullshit in its tracks....
