Dennis Gartman predicts massive waves of selling in commodities

Agree 1000%. I suppose we are to believe all those semi-indigent Chinese bike rider converts have no problem ponying up the equivalent of $4 USD to get to where they want to go, too...

    100K trading account?

Let's assume you are telling the truth. Let's also assume that your normal holdings that generate 100K per year in dividends are in very high-yielding stocks - say, 5% on average. That means that you have holdings of $2M. Take the $100K account and play.

CNBC, Bloomberg and Ilk Make Me LAUGH

That's beautiful: energy prices FALL because of RISING energy prices. How's that for circular logic?? :-)

CNBC, Bloomberg and Ilk Make Me LAUGH

ess I could not agree with you more. I have had many of those same thoughts myself. I always have thought the most dangerous word in financial media is "on." As in "stocks fell today ON..." or "oil fell ON..." They're always incorrectly attempting to correlate a move to fundamentals. All...

The Truth About Commodities, including Oil - Complete Speculation

Yeah, that was some idiotic trade (buying Euros). That chart really supports your point. One question though: WTF are you talking about?!??

    Negative Divergence

OK, how's this for credibility: (1) The technical indicators I look at show the market set up for a "BIG" negative divergence. (2) The market will probably flatline for a while. (3) Small caps will roar. Kind of covers all the bases, right. Guess it's called a hedge.

    Negative Divergence

Your posts are probably written about the time the munchies set in. Huge negative diverenge > probably flatline for a while > smallcaps will roar. Uh, OK.

    Market is overbought

+1 I am still perplexed why "TRADERS" on this site get so pissed about up markets and long-term direction in general.

    You Lucky Bastards: FMD

It just goes to show how fundamentals in this market continue to be trumped by technicals. I made the greatest fundamental justification of why SWHC was going to 20 last fall (privately, mind you--not on the Internet) and lost my a$$ based on their corrupt management. Shit happens and money...

This is debatable. Hard to gauge their appetite for stocks when their communist government forbids ownership of non-Chinese equities.

    You Lucky Bastards: FMD

Truth hurts, doesn't it? What kind of idiot are you to think anyone can guarantee anything 100% of the time? I never made any STUPID FUCKING claims-YOU DID. Trolls like you love to start threads posting these grandiose GAMBLES, hoping and praying their longshot dogshit goes in the direction...

    You Lucky Bastards: FMD

Ah, yes, what "lucky bastards" all the ET readers were to have lost a mere 60.0% of their capital had they bought FMD on 4/1 @ the 7.80 close. Any more brilliant picks? I'll be waiting with my notepad.
