Changes at Crossland & Deep Discount

not sure we are arguing any longer the same points, but with regards to what you have stated below... i could not agree more... to be honest, I was keeping more than what I needed with CRS at the beginning ... after PFG, I talked to Ed because I was concerned, I wanted to make sure my funds...

consistency is always key to me... i always try to find out which "cook" did the steaks when I am there for that reason... overall, I care more about meat quality and taste, and the sides with those steaks.... service... while important, not a deal breaker for me, ... I usually just order my...

Whats best for serous ATS: lightspeed vs rithmic vs DAS

I can colocate for $100 a month per U and be 0-1ms latency from my market data and order entry servers... like I am today... but colocation is only one portion of the cost... the point is that it is not needed for every strategy, I colo only because i care about uptime and reliability of my...

I've heard the same about sparks... need to make the time to go there for sure... in no specific order, the more consistent steaks I've had (and yummy as hell) have been at Porter House, Peter Lugers, Benjamins and Capital Grille(Midtown).. and I say consistent bc the issue with Wolfgangs...

I want to make sure that is clear that by no means howard is a bad broker, as you have said, he is very available and also trades himself and services those small accounts quite well, I've had the pleasure to have held conversations with him... which is why he intro's to CRS and does quite...

Whats best for serous ATS: lightspeed vs rithmic vs DAS

I design infrastructure for a living for front, mid and back office systems... removing latency, is part of it... and the ULLT space is only reserved for those strategies that make markets or have an arb edge... so please understand... $100K will still not get you ULLT to compete against a bank...

I have to agree with some of the posters on this thread, you are approaching this problem the wrong way. as an example, are you going to be rebuilding the order book? if you are medium frequency, what is the point of being colocated? all that stuff costs quite a bit of money... so not sure...

it has to do with bandwidth and refresh rates... The reason for the lower res on dvi is because of the bw with that media, in dual mode it doubles the bw which enables it to get to the higher res... It is all about the bits baby! :) Relax, this isn't complicated. Since you won't be able...

each port supports the max resolution of 2560x1600(16:10).... Your screens are 2560x1440(16:9) well within the range... as long as you connect via DP or DL-DVI you will get the desired resolution... That which is native to the monitors ...

look at that, scat is right again... Partially... anyhow, the card will be fine with your resolution using the dell 27's,.. The monitors have dual link dvi's... So you will support the max... but double check the monitor, in case I am wrong ...

are you still doing 3x27"s? if so, then Scat is correct, amazingly... try seeing if the 2xNVS310's are lower cost... and they should come with the cables... at least the HP stuff ships with it, so doubt DELL would not, but you never know... if you get into the DMS59 then you add a bit more...

if amazon will ship to you, they are the simplest option... no need for a new card if you can get the cable from them... the service forward is your second choice, with buying the new card last... in terms of overcall risk (or expense in this case)..

so... based on your screen prints/scans... you scalp for 2-5 ticks or so, just do it with size across 10 accounts? also, if you need a better tool than "print screen" to capture your stuff, look at snagit... it is simple to use, you can then "clean up" or black out anything you dont want to...
