    I would like to change my vote to taking the job. I did not read your post before I voted. If you take the job and hate it, you can always go back to trading. If you decide to trade, the opposite will probably not be true. good luck

    Let me rephrase my question. If you did elect MTM on your stock account and investment on your futures, do you think you could defend it during an audit? My concern is that they would see two actively traded accounts and the red flag would go up.

    Not that there is a shortage of opinions on IB on this site, but I have been very pleased with them so far. One think I definitely like is that they don't hide fees. Heck, they don't even charge for outgoing wires! I just wish I had found them earlier. Hope all turns out well, Cheeks
