    Damn.. crash tomorrow..

I totally agree. Mike, Prostitutes in the Street - you sure you weren't in Europe? Poverty... you don't have to look farther than NYC streets for that, especially in the mornings before the bums get rousted out of 'bed' by store owners and told to move on. In the 'financial capital' of...

    Earning Bet for 5% gain!

You're missing the run up, SGP's at +$2.30 right now, oops. $30.87.

I agree with him. I got in SGP yesterday too. It should be a nice short term play.

"The Retail Investor Is Just Not Trading As Much Right Now"

I think it's just Etrade. I have an account in Etrade again after they bought BrownCo... prolly how they got 1/3 their customer base back after 2002 and everyone dumped Etrade. Etrade screws with your account, then sends it to the IRS so you can get a nice big tax bill. Then, you get to pay...

    I Own A Dog...

It's a long term buy-hold. If you want to play more speculatively, you may want to sell it. I have some, I'm ok with sitting on it in an account I don't play much. Not every stock has to be a shooting star, and those that are fall to earth faster. If you want to play exclusively those, be...

incredible 1.14 mil housholds with over $5 mil assets

Here's the census data from Wikpedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:American_Income.png The top 1.5% of households make over $250K a year. The top 5% make over $157K. So from which segment are all these millionaires?

incredible 1.14 mil housholds with over $5 mil assets

I wonder where they get these figures from? Does the IRS release them? I think this is impossible, because the MEDIAN income for Americans was $46,000, but then, that's from the Census bureau. If the MEDIAN income is $46K in the US, that means 50% makes more and 50% makes less. Only 17%...

    Nuvo

I know all that... that action was from back in February, Stoney. Why would I buy it today? And no, I am not trying to make ACOR sound evil, just that I don't see what makes it special:). Do you know what will come out at the conference?
  15. H

    Nuvo

No, I'm not... these prices are too high for me, and I don't think it's a given that ACOR will keep going up. I wouldn't consider shorting, but the price is past the 'sure profit' stage atm:P. Plus, I've got myself in an interesting position with DNDN. I am waiting, hoping, the price will...

one month 100% return. can you do it. I did it

Not sure what your question is. Are you asking what to do with the rest of your money? Because if you are only 'playing' $50K, you are parking the balance in what? Money markets at 4.55%? How are you getting fills on individual under $10 stocks at $50K a pop without paying exhorbitant...

    GOOG buys DoubleClick

Reminds me of AOL buying TWX, except Doubleclick is no TWX. I don't play this, so just a sideline observation.

My Turnaround Spec Play (A Very Hated Company With a Tortuous Past)

What is the DEAL with Krispy Kreme? Is it a guy thing? My cousin a few years back bought a shitload of this stock and got um... creamed. But for some reason, and it has to be a guy thing, Krispy Kreme is still such a big deal to a lot of people. Before my cousin went to England, he packed...

    Nuvo

Ahh. Good point, didn't notice the dates. Think DNDN is going up from here for a bit, I stopped tracking NUVO when I sold, it was only a short play to begin with.
