Remember reading somewhere that prices retrace back to the gap opening price in 65% of cases. If that's true , then fading the gap opening should prove to be profitable. I haven't tested or traded this strategy, though

A single trader could trade this plan from 2 separate accounts. But both a/cs would probably lose if its a choppy market.

This guy Ripley has been receiving bucketfuls of good advice on ET from professional traders and he still seems to be hell bent on doing the exact opposite of what's been advised. anyway, i wish him the best. Going by his approach, he'll surely need loads of luck to survive the tough road...
