    I need a forex mentor

Couple questions: 1). Do you think you will find a suitable mentor on ET? 2). Why should a "real*" trader spend time mentoring you vs. trading (other than altruism)? * real being defined as one who feeds his/her family and/or multiple families based on the funds extracted from the...

How long has everyone been trading?

I stated trading 1 lots of Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire cards back in '87. I work my way up and by age 8 I was slanggin' 100 lots of TOPPS, Fleer, Leaf, you name it I traded it. "Referral fees" for fund raising?

For a CPO you would generally be charged one commission rate. I have not experienced it any other way. An IB would get paid on commission and the front load you impose on the fund. Now there is a regulation against paying an AP of your firm the load, but I am not sure if that applies to IB's...

    "Referral fees" for fund raising?

First off you need to consult a lawyer not ET. I could recommend a good one in Chi. A broker dealer can be paid a load for selling the fund as well as receiving the commissions for your trades. They do not need to be series 3 as the CPO is viewed in the same light as a security, but they...

    Fall you turd.

Some people on this board make me laugh. Why sit around and talk about GS and the Fed propping up the market? Are the aforementioned parties actually doing what they are being accused of? I don't know and I don't care. You can sit around and complain about this or that...

    Fall you turd.

Just put on your trade and shut up. If it falls it falls if it doesn't so what move on to the next thing. Why do we need to start threads like this? Obviously if you feel the need to start discussions of this nature you are concerned with your position and therefore should be out. Simple...

What is the first thing you look at in the morning?

I look at my alarm clock. I have found that by waking up my trading is significantly better than when I am sleeping. I have quantified this. It's the secret key to successful trading, for me. Maybe I should sell an ebook. I will title it "Waking Up, The Secret Way To Riches In The Market."
