“An Entire Generation May Now Look At The Stock Market As A Losing Proposition."

I laugh at how easy it is to pick out ByLo's worthless threads by their inane titles attempting to grab attention. Have you noticed his M.O.: a) When someone accuses him of being on ET's payroll (I did the same several weeks back), he doesn't deny it. b) His reply to any critics is to...

    GREAT indicator

Looks like you've changed things around a lot. Before you used 10+ contracts, the 10 minute chart, and went for 5+ points per trade. Now, 1 contract, for only 1 point, on a 1 minute chart. What happened? Did the other set-up fall apart when volatility declined?

Hedge Fund Leader Blasts Obama for "Bullying" and "Abuse of Power"

If he does, you can bet he has them insured by CDS's issued by AIG and backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government!

Hedge Fund Leader Blasts Obama for "Bullying" and "Abuse of Power"

And something like 50% don't pay any income taxes. Coincidence? I wonder what the correlation is between those who don't pay income taxes and those who support Obama? 80%? But getting back to the point of this thread, the rule of law is being squashed. This country was made great by...

Hedge Fund Leader Blasts Obama for "Bullying" and "Abuse of Power"

Hey....Bush is just as much at fault as Obama is now (Bush just didn't want GM's bankruptcy on his clock). GM should have gone BK last fall, and the process should have proceeded as Texrex described above (he beat me to giving an informed response to Risktaker's naive post). The bondholders...

Having Killed More Shorts Than WW II

As long as the majority here (which is a proxy for the retail investors out there) think it will fall, it'll keep going up. Advances like this are fed by those who keep shorting it on the way up, thinking it's gotta top soon, and then they have to keep buying back to cover at ever higher prices.

Hedge Fund Leader Blasts Obama for "Bullying" and "Abuse of Power"

He's absolutely right and it's high time that someone shouts that the emperor has no clothes on! Obama is being even more brazen in his shake down of the GM bondholders....saying that they should only get 10% of the equity, while the government and the UAW get 90% of the equity. I forget...

    Inventory Grab Alert 4/30/09!

Thank you for your contribution, king. Looks like a market profile chart with a short time basis (10 min). So how do you use the vertical areas and plump areas (price agreement areas) to scalp? Do you wait for pullbacks into plump areas and scalp for small bounces?

    Inventory Grab Alert 4/30/09!

I will be glad to read whatever explanation you provide, and conduct my own verification. However, you choose to continue with your smug attitude. I was actually critical of AMT with his calls on the ES last fall (it seemed like he just continued to add-on to losers when price went against...

    Inventory Grab Alert 4/30/09!

Instead of pretending to be the smartest kid in the room by saying "Ha, Ha....I know something you all don't", why don't you give further details of why you think AMT's description of delta (and the buying/selling decisions behind it) is incorrect? This does seem to be your M.O. througout ET...

    Index Margin requriments?

Yes, you're right. My broker (Mirus) operates that way, but not all.

    Index Margin requriments?

overnight means holding from 4:15 EDT to 4:30 EDT (when the exchange shuts down for 15 minutes). If you don't hold over that period, then it's just a daytrade, even if the trade is initiated after hours.
  18. S

    Index Margin requriments?

For overnight holds, the exchange sets it. For daytrading only, the broker has discretion to set it lower. There are many futures brokers that only require $500 margin for daytrading.
