If I recall your earlier post, that u live/work in a remote area. This could be the "need" you want to fill, not making tons of money. Once the trading turns bad, you will begin to feel the lack of social interactions again. Very depressing from my personal experience.

QT is free, so you can use it with your preferred web-based broker. TS is a trading platform/broker and you pay monthly software fee. I could replace QT but got used to trading side by side with TS. I use both with no problems. The regular QT updates doesn't bother me.

I've got realtime news feed, and sometimes one of the stocks I track will pop a news from DJ with weekly listing of Analysts' Highest Rated Stocks. Might be a good list for swing or breakouts.

Anyone trading from Singapore? Well the U.S. markets open at 9:30pm (or 10:30pm) till 4am (or 5am), so I can still keep a day job and trade late nights. I left my job last month so am trading fulltime now. Kind of boring during the day without colleagues and social contacts.
