Abuse goes on in these forums because of passive-aggressive people who don't have the balls to say things to a person's face. If these conversations were going on in person, I guarantee a lot of the crap that goes on here would not happen. People may still think the rude things that they do...

I hate to admit it, but I am terrible at tests and I passed. The best thing I found was practice tests on the computer. Those put you in the most realistic environment to learn.

Not true...lots of firms will let you trade any option strategy not requiring margin, like long straddles, long calls, long puts, etc. That example you give of some "dr." is what's wrong with the brokerage business today...it's like walking into a casino, dropping 1 million on the craps...
