Ok.. Onw more question. What if I place an MARKET order for 1000 shares. 500 filled at 5.5, Then 500 @ $5.51? because I bought at market and the fills were at differnet prices will I get charged 1 cent for both?? or the .5 cent for the last 500 even though it was at a differnt price?

I am wondering if you get ever get the 0.005 shares after your first 500 bought? I heard that IB will break up your 1000 shares buy into two 500 lots charging you 1 cent for each share. Is this true?? Have any of you expeirenced this?

It seems to me that if I was to trade 4000 shares I would buy up the market and brive the price up. The the opposite when I get out? It seems much harder to trader that size lot?

You will see some improvments. But your trading be the same. A new or upgraded computer will not make you more profitable unless your computer keep freezing. If you want to make more money then you have to get cheaper commissions &/or fine tune you trading strategy.

Is there a fine for trading more than the pdt rule?? To me it doent make sense ? Its less risky to trade with cash than it is to trade on margin? Why do they force use to trade on margin?

I find that even on the biggest down day I can still trade long positions without any problem. But Ya I will be starting to short in the next couple of months.

Thanks for your positive input! Ya making a a couple of pennies per play is great if you can do it enought times. I only trade stocks under $5 so I can afford to buy 1000 - 1500 shares. I must say I never thought that I could make $500 per day with $5000. The more I trade the more I love it!!
