I don't know of which demo you are talking here, but in IB Demo the above said cannot happen since the IB Demo is much like real trading. So, I would say you are spreading false information.

I stand by what I said: yes, I make daily at least 5% (but I never guaranteed it; I just said that I ask only for the excess profits beyond 5%, ie. if I make >5%). And: it doesn't matter whether it is in IB Demo or in real trading, my method works in any trading environment/exchange or...

Too bad, made a bad decision when I bought some too expensive BNS options :-( I try to get out of it with no or minimal loss. Hope it will work out.

re IBM: as expected: I beat him :-) More than 20k profit from IBM. Total profit in the last 13 hours: +32k (+6.4%) as can be seen in the attachment:

IBM ctd: I made him an offer: +16%. That's the same pct he had dropped my option. He seems not to like my offer, but we'll see... :-)

IBM ctd: Now: +7%, still not enough for me. If he can drop the price 10%, 15% or even more, then I expect the same percent as profit... :-) It's IMO fair and they deserve it I would say... :-)

The IBM MM guy goes crazy because I'm not behaving as he expects; he wants me to sell my options, but I don't want. Without me selling he cannot continue, otherwise his losses would be big. But, is it my problem? Hey, he is dependent on me, so I can lean back and enjoy his frustration :-)...

The IB Demo is as real as the reality (upto the said offsets in the prices). And: I've clearly stated in the initial posting that the results are from the IB Demo! Hey, if you don't like this thread then simply don't read, there are enough other forums and threads...
