IMO trading is all about entering into positions where you being "wrong" results in very little loss. Of course you need to study your charts to decide what constitute "wrong" (setups, etc), but thats the easier part. As long as you can do this, the winners will take care of themselves...

Re-entered long 1911.25 stop 1910 wedge setup plus the tendancy of the markets to gravitate towards opening price if it wasn't a trend day. JSS, 3-min D on NQ. Iloveoptions... was up a little more before, but currently up 23 NQ points :)

Long 12.75 stop 11.75 target 1917.50 WOW don't like that sell spike on the 250CV chart... out 1915.50... could go higher but, as always, I go for the low hanging fruit .... there it goes, tagged my target anyway

From the makers of Sell-Off and Short-Squeeze..... this Junes biggest blockbuster - BIG BOUNCE.... coming soon to an index near you - shorts have 20-25 more ES points at most left to the downside IMO before a pretty big rip up. Not to be too picky, but a tiny bounce and then one more move down...

What are realistic goals for an 18-year old swing/position trader?

This advice sucks. Here is my opinion - I've been trading through college (just finished 3rd year) and the experience you get by trading your actual money is invaluable. Not only would I not be able to bring myself to apply any effort if theres no money on the line, trading your own money...

No probs :) All the noobs jump in front of the size thinking it will hold, then when it doesn't they're scrambling to cover their positions driving the price. My discretionary trading has been going so much better recently just by understanding what suckers would do, and figuring out how to...

They're playing games with the DOM... picking up a couple quick points is easy - 3000 bid shows up, place your sell-stop 1 tick below it, then if and when all the contracts get eaten up, watch the cascade down and be quick with taking your profits  ... my gift to ES Journal for the day haha
