    Glub, glub, glub...

Well the broad market took a breath today by poking its head above water for the first time in awhile but not exactly a breathtaking display of strength ---no pun intended. The transports have been in an absolute terror. Interesting times. I only wish for volatility. This squished wrung...

    BS Move Today

Nice call. Some weird shit today-- mega-divergences everywhere. My only regret today is not leveraging even more but whatever tommorrow is another day. Trading really is funny sometimes, frustrating sometimes, sometimes boring (actually alot) sitting on hands 90% of the time ain't easy...

Well that was a solid move up overnight and this am :p The ride down was fun too. Weirdness with the sector rotation going on. Really not healthy evidence of a market poised to continue substantially higher. Whatever. I may just close my shorts now and see what tommorrow brings.

    'Idiot-Savant' Traders?

Sort of off-topic but interesting and absolutely true.... There is a gentleman I ran across who at 36 lives with his mom. As a "savant" his gift was geometric relations. He also had a pituitary adenoma which led to his incredible 360 # 6' 8" size. This guy couldn't tie his shoelaces but...

    Windows Xp Pro?

First of all let me say I'm neither for nor against any OS I just want stability, speed, and ease of use with regard to TRADING which is what I do. Having said that I'm seriously looking into LINUX as it has a better speed and stability profile compared with MS windows XP products. But and...

I would have thought we'd have taken this market down a bit more before rallying, but that may not be the case. It looks as though 1300 in the ES is a supportive environement to raise longs into healthy young hundred dollar bills.

Here's a chart of todays action in the S & P Futures. Of note we bounced on low volume in the am to resistance and based on the time of day this was the set-up for "The Waterfall." That is pre-news, low vol walk up into resistance at lunchtime, then a gradual loss of upside volume as traders...

    Option effect

Well, what's glaringly obvious is the 100 pt spread with 1275 in the middle where alot of options sit as well. If the median is 1275 we have a skewed distribution to the downside. BIG MONEY IS SHORT!!!

I'm looking into Windows Server 2003 and the compatibility with Esignal Data feed/charting platform(s) Has anybody done this? I called Esignal they THINK the answer is yes but not really sure. Any comments especially from IT pros (I'm a novice at best) would be appreciated. It's OK to...
