I use Track Data and I have 911.25 for the low at 9:54 EST. Also "using the term "exactly" loosely" reminds me that I never follow pivots or other common numbers exactly. I think they should be used as a handle where the market could turn around or just pause. R1 does not always stop an...

I was thinking the same thing regarding it turning up after dropping below S1 (906) I think the more important common number in this case was yesterday's LOD (904.25). When these numbers are clustered it seems more reliable. ~EC

Is this just paper trading to evaluate a system? "Can’t complain though at least I followed it 100%"... how long can you take that kind of losses? Good luck with your system. ~EC

Back test that idea for even a week and see how many times the market changes direction on a static pivot point. If it is also the 20 MA or 50 MA or yesterday's HOD or LOD then better yet but the pivots work well enough to not be ignored. Good luck ~EC
