Okay.. I have my System Complete

Then you don't really have your system complete - a system isn't a system if you can't or won't trade it. You need to come up with a system that fits your psychologically. IMO, if you can't bring yourself to trade a system right from the start, you will never be able to trade it.

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - Maybe this is a simpler way to ask the buying power question - With regard to the potential average profit of $17,884 - to what % return does that figure correlate?

    BestDayTrader Q&A

It's unfortunate that you think I'm only trying to bust your balls - I'm giving you the opportunity to simply answer the questions that I know everyone here has - in an intelligent fashion without this turing into a flame-fest which usually ends up with no real answers. In fact, I have gone...

One final observation and then I'll let you answer the outstanding questions - Aren't the words "impossible" and "potential" mutually exclusive? If it is impossible to take all the trades on the buffet, then the potential is not really there, is it?

Also - You seem to offer your chat log as "evidence" of the potential trades ( in the table) - I'm trying to match the info in the table to the actual chat log. For example, on 5/10 the table says there were 39 calls that made a total of $20,910. I'd like to see what those calls were - what...

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - I'm not really interested in what your traders do and don't do - that's why I preface my questions with "With regard to your potential profits amount...". I'm asking you questions that pertain to how you calculated the potential profits amount that you show on you website...

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Balda - Trapper makes the relevant point here - account size. The account size needed to simulataneously hold the entire days open position is probably enormous - but let's ask and find out - Shogun-Trader, with regard to your potential profit amounts - what would the average account size...

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - I'm looking at your log from 5/10 - can you help me? I'm trying to find an example of where you entered a trade and where you exited that trade - maybe one with a profit, and one where you stopped out.

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - I'm not sure if you consider these questions flames or not - or maybe you just missed them - but there are two outstanding questions if your don't mind answering them: 1. So you are going to instruct them to insert the words "potential" - or are you saying you are leaving it...

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Hey Balda - why don't you let the guy answer the question(s) posed to him instead of making accusations and claims that you have no real proof of. For example - at this point in the debate, it's really irrelevant if he trades the calls or not - he hasn't said he does.

Ebo, haven't you read the thread? Not everyone (or maybe anyone) eats everything at the buffet.

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - With regard to your potential amount of profit per day - what stop-loss method was used when calculating that specific amount?

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Shogun-Trader - Welcome. Thanks for the "buffet of money" analogy. Sounds appetizing. So will you change your banner ad to read "Avg potential points per day: 18" and "Avg potential profit per day: $17,872.05"? Surely that is a simple thing to do and would make it clear that this is a...

    BestDayTrader Q&A

Re: the $18K per day average profits..... Read the fine print on the website: "Important notice - These figures represent total potential profit for the day, not actual trading. Most of our traders are able to capture a good portion of what is available, but it is always a good idea to...

    YM in a Can

ES - Why such the interest in backtesting? What would that prove/disprove? IMO, the only important thing is how it works in the present - and if it is working , then you should use it while it is working. And stop when it stops working. It doesn't really help to know that 2 years ago it...

    E-mini liquidity for scalpers

I still don't understand - doesn't matter what you are using to generate the orders, a limit order is a limit order is a limit order. Limit means limit and you wont ever have slippage on a limit order.

    E-mini liquidity for scalpers

Still don't understand - I mean, if you are actually using limit orders - there can be no slippage at all. If you submit a BUY LIMIT 1005, you are not going to get a fill at anything greater than 1005 period. No matter what you are "using" to generate the order.
