Curious as to how many traders here have had a mentor. Not a chat room subscription but a real time mentor and if so, roughly, how was the training, physically side by side or on-line, pay, upfront or payments. Finally how was the experience?

Try working in a nightclub, you grow accustomed to the taste.
Done this a number of times; not the forget part, that I would say it is the dumb mistake part, but the refusing to take the loss, that I would say is the stupid part.
It seems to me that this is what perpetuates a loser, knowing one has made a (dumb) mistake and yet hoping and perhaps...
I went short MRVL last month @16 on a swing trade. I own a bar and got vry busy then and I stopped trading and forgot about my open short. A week or so later its trading just under 20 and I refused to bail thinking this junk has to tank. It's now at 23 and am stuck waiting for a good pullback...
Swtrader exellent post, still have tears from laughing at some of those lines. I wouldn't take this too seriously though, GG is here strictly for entertainment.:)
I did a search prior to posing the Q and found nothing real time or less than one month. Did notice some tech stocks in Oct w/12 month high for short interest, could poss. explain their large run-up.
