I took a trial recently. They are very slow on email but seem to reply to the phone ok.

I run a 1024meg desktop and it is slow when using wealthlab. I need double that or more if possible.. Tell me about data caches and how they affect performance? If I buy a notebook are there any that can take big ram?

Zn, ZB, DAX, ES, Nq, YM, EC, JPY, GBL for starters. PLus several equities. I use it with Sierra, medved,wealthlab. Before I had ensign running also. It all makes no differnce to the IB feed but because wealthlab can only update every 1 second (about) it is slightly delayed to the WL chart.

My hair is thinner after 6 weeks of trying to get all IB symbols to work with ensign. I gave up and use Medvedqt with wealthlab , and sierra charts now.

This is an advantage forex has over globex. Personally I stay at my computer when I have a position on globex,;with forex you can walk away and rely on the guaranteed stop.

Could you explain why the spreads are so large now? If hotspot is getting quotes from banks around the world the spread at times should be only 1 pip..
