Deron, A lot of traders use the futures and ETFs as leading indicators in their stock trading. Would trading the ETFs then (or futures) put you at a disadvantage since you don't have a leading indicator for these instruments? Thanks.

I think it is important that you look at the big picture. Worldco is essentially willing to eat your losses while you are learning how to trade (after you go through your 5k contribution). This will take a lot of pressure off of you while you are trading. Try bringing 25k to Echo or Bright and...

IB servers are usually down during weekends for maintenance. It should be back up Sunday PM. As for the "3" that appears on your account screen, I really don't know what that means. I would like to say though that I find IB to be the best DA broker I have ever used when it comes to system...
