Buy a Call Option v Sell a Put Option

I think you are trying to oversimplify the learning curve of one of the most complex trading instrument. They can't be learned on YouTube or a forum by asking question, because you would be missing plenty of essential steps, a that transpires on your questions. It would be like trying to compete...

(poll)Will the stock market crash hard by end of 2020?

When I google Roger Stone, what I get is "lobbyist, convicted, felon, martial law..." Wow... Impressive CV. I wonder if cospiracists got rid of any device built by Microsoft that they might own. The attacks on Bills Gates and Soros are pathetic, low intellect, right wing bullshit. Also...

What is a good way to hedge currency risk?

It can be confusing at first but you can organise a basket of currencies depending on your need. Costs are the same or similar to an FX trade.

What is a good way to hedge currency risk?

Ib is a kind of a multi currency account. I use fxconv to balance between gbp eur and usd, there is also a function that authomatically makes a conversion for negative balances. Or you can do your own conversion as if they were trades but selecting fxconv.

    Options (Beginner)

It's a strategy adjustment but you are not cutting a loss, you are switching direction in terms of risk exposure.

$100.000 in Europe. Which CFD Broker?

This is strange. I had accounts with Oanda without having to prove much. Interactive Brokers is definitely the best among the ones you mentioned. Although they offer CFD's, it's all quite advanced and maybe not suitable for beginners. IG could be a decent solid european option. For high...

Bitcoin Plunges Along With Other Coins

So, understanding something about a criminal fraud means making money illegaly now. I always knew all tax enforcers and authorities were expert crooks. Taxes are for whimps. I think crypto is deep fried air, but you can exchange it for goods and they are taxed too, so they are legally...

PLTR on a tear.. lockup period expires ?

Citron also said that Nio would crash, and that was 20$ (60%) ago more or less. I don't know them so well to judge them anyway. I am protecting both with puts as I got good entries. Palantir is quite a thing... With limited risk, I would love to hold a tiny fraction of the pie for long term.

Bitcoin Plunges Along With Other Coins

Those guys who created usdt, technically, and in my opinion legally, printed fake money. Inflating the crypto market with fake shit as you call it.

PLTR on a tear.. lockup period expires ?

Long puts or covered calls? even if it would have been better before this correction for covered calls. I also own some but I am not much concerned about today, considering the rally it's coming from. Lockdowns shouldn't affect it much unless it brings all markets down.

Bitcoin Plunges Along With Other Coins

I agree... A coin that replicate a fiat currency makes no sense, should not exist and should be considered fraud. It even takes the usd name. I read something shady about the creators a couple of years ago, and about how it might have influenced 2017 rally. I thought there might be others.

    Stop Order Not Honored

If there is no market, how can a market or any order get filled... Liquidity gaps for example. Then if you are happy to be filled the next day, 95% away from your market order original price, it's fine. But I wouldn't call that a guaranteed fill.

Very safe place to park some cash

I think 3% can be achieved with a low cost leaps collar strategy on some high dividend stock. This is if the dividend doesn't get trimmed much during the year and the cost of the collar is about 3% less than the yeld. Someone mentioned Sunoco, I remember looking at payoff of XOM collar to trap...
