to start with you always should run your portfolio with a cash bucket - usually monies for the next 2 years put aside suffice. Your decision about a position must not depend on your consumption pattern!

I hate how they calculate interest - at least for exotic pairs it is the biggest rip off ever. Instead of calculating margin interest on overall exposures in individual currencies they calculate it pair by pair. For instance assume you are long EUR against JPY and short EUR against CZK...

does anybody knows who allows you to trade more exotic pairs like EURHUF, EURCZK, USDTRL, USDMXN etc. These you can't trade on Globex <i>easy</i>. Is there a good broker for exotic fx spot? Oanda offers some which is the main reason I stay with them but I would be happy to move... Thanks a lot

Pabst - the data you point to are manipulated. You should believe thriftybob and hydroblunt that because they do not see any wage grow around them therefore there is no wage growth. That's basically how this thread looks like....

i am a bit confused by this post - what is your point? Everybody can access BLS data in detail. Also everybody knows that to try to describe the whole labor market through few numbers may be misleading. The data collection may be of questionable quality which may and leads to huge standard...
