I've had a dozen people ask me this, so I'll post it here. It's called the nasdaq opening and closing cross. The info is available but it costs $70 a month...... it was insane last friday, there was a 2 million share imbalance on INTC.... I wish I had 10X the buying power that day...

crazy day. I did 3million shares on AVR and made only $400 on it... was anyone else playing with that??? good day over all, spread very evenly over 5 or 6 stocks... mnx

got killed on a trade on VLO made a little on INTC on the closing imbalance... mnx

got rocked on CIEN on the close... i forgot to how to read an imbalance.... (it was to the sell side not the buy side...) i had to get out of 32000 shares after the close, (close 2.5 cents...) lesson learned... mnx

ok, I'll start the parade for today. with the good comes the bad. KSS killed me this morning while AX and KR accounted for most of my profits (profitable stocks that is...) mnx

I use a computer program that probably accounts for 10% of my trades... I'd say I usually average 1000 trades per day. (500 round trips.) mnx

if trading NYSE and posting a bid/offer you will get more fills on INTE than ARCA... I believe it has to do with the fee structure... (people get small credits for removing liquidity on INET, where ARCA charges.....) PLUS, on most NYSE stocks INET isn't quoting through the NSX so you can...

this makes up for yesterday afternoon..... lately it seems if I have a good morning, the afternoon is a sleeper. we'll see what the rest of the day brings. mnx

Heya BBNAz! I got killed by the EOD yesterday!!!!! In the last 25 minutes, I went from down $200 to -2400 to -500 and back down to -2400..... the moral of the story is: don't have 30000 ORCL after the bell..... ;) my p/l isn't usually that volatile..... i think I might have been...

Yeah that was my gross, my net high of the day was $6527.05. But it doesn't matter where you were, it matters where you finish. I really hate getting shut down for the day though... I missed 2 full hours of trading...... mnx

no worries..... imagine you are up $5000 on the day. (unrealized or realized profit.) then you lose $1000. you are now up $4000 and have a $1000 loss from the top. later, mnx

more games, lost a couple hundred more and got stopped out for the rest of the day. the beauty of working at a prop firm is that they tell you when you've had enough for the day. mnx

wpo ahahahahah cme is decent, but the spreads can be killer (but pale in comparison to wpo...) mnx
