Canadina margin requirements for condor spreads with IB

    Interactive Brokers Initial Public Offering

from http://ipo.interactivebrokers.com/IPO/ "Due to Canadian legal restrictions, residents of Canada may not bid in an IBIPO Auction." they just added this to their webpage... I assume this means they're going to cancel the bid I already put in? I noticed there is no IBIPO tab under my...

    Another retail "PFOF" nightmare fill....

The stock probably hit a LRP at the time and any orders sent to the NYSE during that time usually take an eternity to fill. Sometimes you can get massive price improvement, other times you wait forever and get screwed. In this instance you got the latter obviously. You should be glad that...

    nyse printing outside of market

geez, look at the size of this thread... I had a block of 1700 shares print 1% below the bid on the stock I was trading 2 days ago... It was a NYSE print. There was no sale condition attached to the print... I was posted on the inside with the NYSE and didn't get a fill... I was thinking...

yeah it's a rip off... I try and get the best fill so I cancel and modify a lot... BOSX only charges 10 cents for a cancel btw... better off routing there first (if you use IB)... - mnx

    Trading 1 stock only?

channelingstocks.com.. ;) hahaha ever see that commercial on CNBC?? could you do the same thing with options to increase your return? The only problem with that is strikes are no less than 2.50$ apart (usually 5$) so it might not bve worthwhile... I suppose stocks that are rangebound have...

How can you buy an odd lot of PPH?

I thought about it for a while, and you could try something like sharebuilder.com. (they'll pair your order with others orders and you'll eventually get the shares...) could could always make a basket of the components, but it would be pretty hard to approximate the exact composition...
