I highly doubt a high frequency strategy is created, tested, traded live from retail platforms on retail brokers on retail hardware/lantecy to have any meaningful results that would even get an interview at a HFT fund.

Possible but improbable as general rule. You will fail. Over and over before you have any sort of consistent success. I've never seen an exception of someone straight into the markets being consistent. Are you OK with that ? Better have enough savings saved up as blowing through all your net...

Interesting point that probably varies for everyone..in my trading I've found the opposite, the more "like" (confident) of a trade, are usually the losers.

I'm not talking about singular trades. I'm talking about traders whole stats. There are definitely traders who can average better than 70% and 1:1. You stated no one can do it over the long run.

He is day trading, most trades are done within the same day. Not position trading like he previously said. That probably only happens when he gets a very strong one direction trend.
